Testing in Maryland

As most of us know, there are quite a few standardized tests administered. For parents with children grades 3-5, students will take the PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers) test. Scores were sent home county wide on 09/18/2017 from the test given last year. MarylandPublicSchools.org has a post detailing the Top 10 Things Parents Need To Know about Testing in Maryland. Visit the provided resources so that we as parents can stay informed, and as we grow, we will continue to provide as much insight and information as possible. While this link isn't conclusive to all tests administered, it will touch on the PARCC. The second will help you understand the score.
